Women and Diversity Committee News

New this year for the SLB annual meeting, the Women and Diversity Committee is looking to award a "Paper of the Year" award.  See the 2012 award page for more information.

 

SLB Promotion of Other Meetings

In following our mission of encouraging the science, SLB wishes to help promote meetings of interest to our members.  SLB members can contact the society and request complimentary posting of their meetings on the SLB website and advertising space in JLB (based on availability). In addition, we encourage workshop and conference organizers to approach JLB editors to consider featuring your event in a JLB Focus Section that would highlight your invited speakers to write overviews of their talks and meeting organizers would be identified as guest editors.
 

Pizza and Pubs Program

Fuel the science!  SLB encourages the creation of local journal groups through our Pizza and Pubs Program. Qualifying groups receive up to $200 per year for food and beverages.
