Tenure Track Faculty Position in Immunology and Inflammation
 
The Inflammation Program at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a demonstrated potential for conducting innovative research.  All applicants must have a relevant doctoral degree and substantial peer-reviewed publications in the field of immunology that demonstrate originality and productivity.  Successful candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous, independently funded research program within the Inflammation Program (http://www.healthcare.uiowa.edu/programs/inflammation/index.htm), to participate in teaching of graduate and medical students, and to be an active member of the immunology/inflammation research community on the University of Iowa campus. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, innate immunity, host-pathogen interactions, allergic diseases, and cancer immunology.
 
Academic appointment will be in the Department of Internal Medicine, although appointments in other departments will also be considered. The position provides a competitive start-up package and outstanding opportunities for collaboration with other scientists and clinical investigators throughout the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.
