We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Principal Scientist with a strong background in In Vivo Pharmacology - Oncology / Immunotherapy to join our Department of Early Discovery Pharmacology at MRL-Boston. The successful candidate is expected to drive scientific excellence by establishing best practices in the development and implementation of Oncology Model Development, In Vivo efficacy, PK/PD, and non-GLP tolerability studies while serving as a key intellectual contributor in the conception and implementation of new projects. The role will involve significant interaction and collaboration within the company and with external partners and will require the ability to maintain positive collaborations of this nature. The selected candidate will report to the Director of In Vivo Pharmacology, Boston and is expected to work at the bench as needed.

The successful candidate will have a track record of innovative and collaborative research as demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications in oncology and/or tumor immunotherapy. They will perform experiments using preclinical species to support the discovery of novel compounds for the treatment of cancer. Experience in managing external studies at CROs and academic collaborators including monitoring study execution and ensuring finalization of studies within set timelines is a plus. An ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues in the pharmacology group as well as scientists from different disciplines is essential.
